Our certified opticians can help you choose from many progressive lens designs that work best for your lifestyle and prescription. Progressive lenses seamlessly blend multiple lens powers for clear vision at all distances. High-definition digital lenses are the latest technology, custom-made to your face shape and frame choice, resulting in sharper images, better peripheral vision, improved contrast sensitivity, and reduced glare. Digital lenses are also available for single vision distance, computer, and reading prescriptions.
Are thinner and lighter than standard plastic. High index lenses have the benefit of providing scratch resistance and UV protection without a tint. High Index lenses also minimize edge thickness on the lens.
Are similar to high index plastic lenses and they have the added advantage of being extremely resistant to impact. We recommend polycarbonate lenses for safety glasses and for all children’s eyewear.
Have a treatment that results in more clear vision with less eye fatigue by diminishing glare and reducing reflections. Cosmetically others can clearly see your eyes instead of any glare or reflection off your lens. New technology guarantees that your anti-reflective lenses will resist scratches and be easier to clean. Most anti-reflective coatings also have a 1–2 year scratch warranty. Please ask our opticians about this warranty.
Reduce the intensity of the sun’s glare and allow only certain light waves to pass through, resulting in less irritation, clearer vision and better depth and color perception. While regular sunglasses or tinted lenses only diminish the light that comes through the lens, polarized lenses reduce reflections off horizontal surfaces like roads and water. These are wonderful for people who spend time on our lakes or river and especially good for fishing!
Are technically advanced lenses that adjust as the light changes, darkening in outdoor light and quickly becoming clear indoors, so eyes are protected and comfortable in every environment. Transitions have a new technology that combines the transitions lens and a polarized lens to create Transitions Adaptive Lenses.
Shamir Blue Zero™ is a lens material featuring a built-in filtering of blue-violet light30 emitted mainly by the sun. Based on a unique polymer formula, Shamir Blue Zero™ not only blocks harmful UV light from reaching the eye but also provides up to 3 times more filtering of blue-violet light than clear lenses while maintaining comfortable vision and ensuring high lens clarity.
